The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to open new embassies
On the 5th of December 2025, Denmark’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, announced the opening of new embassies, including in Albania. The new embassies will open in the second half of 2026. Until the opening of the Danish embassy in Albania and the official handover of agreements, Embassy and Permanent mission of Denmark in Vienna will continue to carry out its duties to Albania.
